These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Attorney Assist AI (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of Service
Attorney Assist AI is a software platform that provides automated drafting, research, and case-management tools. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. All outputs must be reviewed by a licensed attorney.
2. Accounts & Access
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- Firms may invite additional users (seats) and are responsible for their activity.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
- Service is provided on a subscription basis (monthly or annual).
- Fees are charged per attorney seat via Stripe Checkout.
- Trials last 7 days; billing begins automatically unless canceled before trial ends.
- Annual subscriptions are prepaid and non-refundable.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law, court rule, or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access or disrupt the Service.
- Upload content that infringes the rights of others.
5. Data & Privacy
You retain ownership of your documents and case data. We process data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not train AI models on your private data without your consent.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose. Attorneys are solely responsible for verifying outputs before use.
7. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Aggregate liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the last 12 months.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict of laws.
